My name is Pauline Pavao. I became involved with the American Heart Association and founded my annual Red Dress Ball due to personal experiences in my life. After contacting the American Heart Association, I wanted to do something locally in my state to raise awareness and funding for individuals in need.
After much thought, I wanted to be able to host an event that would bring people together but I also wanted it to be elegant as well as fun filled for everyone. I had the idea of trying to put together a "Red Dress Ball" where people could dress up in evening attire, have dinner and dancing, and an overall nice night out.
After putting forth much time in contacting facilities, businesses for donations and other organizations I was able to put on my first "Red Dress Ball" in 2010 and had another successful Ball in 2011. We are also well on our way for the "Red Dress Ball" of 2012.
If you or your organization would like to participate in our future "Balls", please feel free to contact me. This is an event that supports a cause that is very special to me and I hope to be able to continue to host these events for years to come.
